Services  ▾  Alarm & Intrusion Monitoring

Caught at the glass, not in the hallway.

Layered detection is the difference: glass-break sensors trigger while an intruder is still outside, contacts catch the slightest shift, and every signal is answered live — within two rings — at our own ULC-listed centre in Winnipeg.

Anatomy of an armed building

Four layers between them and your stock room.

Layer 01 — The glass

Triggered before entry.

Glass-break sensors hear the strike and fire while the intruder is still outside — the alarm is already in Winnipeg before a hand reaches through.

Layer 02 — The openings

Every door and window, accounted for.

Contacts on each entry point catch the slightest shift — a pried door, a lifted window, a propped fire exit.

Layer 03 — The open floor

Nothing crosses the room unseen.

Infrared motion covers warehouses, sales floors, and corridors — with thermal camera options where conditions defeat ordinary sensors.

Layer 04 — The lifeline

The signal always gets through.

UPS, generator, multiple internet and phone providers, and proprietary radio backup carry your alarm to a live operator — answered within two rings, your people called in the order you chose, every event time-stamped on the record.

The lifeline, itemized

Cut one line, three more are listening.

Thieves have learned to cut phone lines outside a building before breaking in — pharmacies, retail stores, and warehouses are common targets. A system that depends on one line isn’t monitored the moment it matters.

Path 01

Telephone

Traditional line supervision — the classic path, still watched.

Path 02

Internet

Multiple providers at the centre, so one outage never silences you.

Path 03

Cellular

Wireless backup that keeps reporting when the wires don’t.

Path 04

Proprietary radio

Our own radio network — plus UPS and generator power behind it all.

ProTELEC TextAlert

Dispatch or cancel — from the text message.

Every keyholder knows at once. Any of them can decide.

When an alarm triggers, TextAlert sends an immediate, simultaneous SMS to everyone on your call list — with a link to the alarm details.

From there, any authorized keyholder can dispatch police or guards, or cancel a false alarm with a secure PIN — no phone conversation required. And if nobody responds, our operators simply continue standard protocol. The safety net stays under the shortcut.
